Hi Teacher Friends.  We completed a busy first week back after the Christmas break.  The kinderkids did a great job getting back into the daily routine.  We had to have inside recess a couple of days due to all the rain we received.  We are so thankful for the rain we received. 

I have pictures of two charts we completed together in class.  Nothing fancy, however, they get the job done.

 

 

We had a white Christmas this year!  This is not normal for our part of the world.  So we answered the question "Did it snow at your house Christmas day?" and completed a Tree Map.  Each child was given a black square of construction paper.  They used a white crayon to draw a snowflake.

 

Our C Scope science lessons have been about water. We have learned that water is a liquid, water can move, water is clear, and water takes the shape of the container it is in. We made a quick anchor chart for "Water Can Move". The kids drew a picture of water moving on a sticky note and added it to the chart.  

 

 

(By the looks of these two charts, a person might think I only have 15 or so students.  There were several students absent on the days we completed these due to little kindergarten germs.)
