January Centers

Here are a few pictures of our January centers.
We are working on addition.

Working with ten frames, building teen numbers.

Reading color words and graphing.

Creating and extending patterns.

Counting using tally marks.
The popsicle sticks make a great hands-on addition to this center.

Identifying middle vowel sounds.  The kids match the picture card to the corresponding short vowel card.  To make this center more challenging, refrigerator ABC magnets were added and the kids had to spellout each word.

The clipart used in these centers is from KPM Doodles.

All these centers are in our Winter Whimsy packet on TpT except
the snowman counting with tally marks it is in our Tally Snow! packet.

A few have asked for the link to our TpT store.  Here is the link if you would like to check it out.

  14. I know I have already commented, but I seriously cannot get over the greatness of your Winter Whimsy Math & Literacy Centers! I finally got everything printed and almost all of it laminated and cut out and couldn't believe how much there was to the unit. WOW!!! I am so thrilled that I happened to find your blog through a Sitemeter URL referral.

I am so glad that you teamed up with me for my giveaway and I truly wish you the greatest bloggy success! I cannot wait to see what else you both come up with!
